I am now the Professor of the Physics of Environmental Systems in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and Senior Scientist at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow, and Landscape Research.

Note to prospective graduate students and postdocs: at the end of 2010 I formally retired from Berkeley.  Although I maintain links with the Berkeley campus, I am not seeking new students or postdocs there.
