This event is largest in a sequence (thus far) which appears to be occurring along Calaveras fault. The sequence includes an M3.6 at 8:22, M3.0 at 08:45, M4.2 at 10:22, M4.0 at 10:47, and M3.5 at 11:02. This swarm is not far from a swarm that occurred near San Ramon in November 2002 on an adjacent fault. Happy Groundhog Day!
